Double Chocolate Sourdough Discard Cookie!

A delightful double chocolate cookie recipe using sourdough discard.

Ingredients

  • Sourdough discard
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Granulated sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • All-purpose flour
  • Cocoa powder
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sourdough discard, butter, and sugars until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
